bike ride to new braunfels

on a beautiful day
cloudy and cool

crossing the salado creek bike path on nacogdoches

a profusion of explosion
wish i knew who these people were
they were certainly happy flowers

the urban jungle
as soon as i got out there the wind shifted from the south east to the east
and the ragged rain clouds moved in

it didn't rain much but it got gnarly on FM 2252 after falcon ridge
the road narrowed the shoulder disappeared and the cars speeded up
fly straight and true little falcon

a bike lane !! after 1604 
thank you god or should i say MPO people

flat tire #2 landed me in the friendly hands of jayme at chain link a cool bike shop one block off the gazebo on east san antonio in downtown new braunfels - we gooped it we patched it we put a magic spell on it

these leaves are deposited in a pile when i clean the pool

next they go to the earth machine

where they are processed into

compost !!

let's not forget to mention the beet tops the garlic skins the coffee grounds the orange peel and the tea bags the dirt the weeds and the corn husks

what's really interesting

is how the little baby jesus

lights up from within as night falls
his parents are full of light

the palm tree is glowing
the darkness recedes

a respectful distance and let's the lord do his thing

do the dishes
