struggle
it's odd how i struggle with my struggle
my expectations posed against my self evaluation
like waking up from a dream that i had a motorcycle
but then it was stolen
i was disappointed that i didn't have a motorcycle but
i was relieved that it wasn't stolen
then i got out of bed
something is flowing
like a stream in the background
i'm playing with sticks trying to build a house
but it falls down
maybe some stones maybe some mud
will help
this is only a distraction
in one simple breath there is no stress
no fear only me
oh yes, in that simple breath, all can change...

In the army they taught us to shoot with BRAS -- breathe relax aim squeeze (the trigger).
Reading this poem I would alter that to breathe relax aim release
maybe I'm thinking about praying instead of shooting

oh and hey -- tall guy -- thanks for coming by my music page and leaving some graffiti. It does suck that it's not more interactive. Thanks for taking the trouble to set up an account so you could comment.

breathe relax aim release - good one - or perhaps release breath relax aim - yes actually typepad blog isn't that interactive either - have to squeeze into these little boxes - relax breathe
